Can you believe that the pharmaceutical companies use herbs and natural extracts to make our medicines today? Amazing, but true. There are trees in the rain forest that produce the natural medicine found in ibuprofen.

We loved our topic of the egyptians. We used maps and the interactive whiteboard to explore and learn about different aspects of egyptian life. Did you know that the River Nile is the longest river in the world?!! Well it is! The Egyptians lived very close to the river because the soil was fertile. The remaining land was mostly desert.

DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME. These words are the actual words spoken by Christ to his disciples at the Last Supper. We are Christ's disciples and so he is asking us also to; 'Take this all of you and eat it, this is my body, do this in memory of me.' We have reflected on these words and what they mean to us. Jesus is asking us to follow His example. When we as Class 3 receive the eucharist for the first time in the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we will be remembering Him.
