Growing every day

Creative learning through colour mixing.

Nursery had an absolutely super time creating their Jack-O-Lanterns. We had to mix red and yellow paint to make a shade of orange and then paint on the face. You should see them, they are amazing!
We're going on a bear hunt.

You would have loved being with us as we retold our story through drama, it made the story come to life! We had great fun making the sounds like the swish, swish of the grass, the pat, pat, pat of the hunters as they make their way to the bears cave. 'We're not scared!!' Suddenly you could hear the screams as they come face to face with a BEAR! Aagh! They were scared then! We were very clever because we showed our teacher how much we knew about story order. We painted the different parts of the story and put them into order. Mrs Thompson was very pleased with us!!
Say hello, say goodbye

When we first came into nursery, our teacher encouraged us to greet each other, hello is such a lovely word. It makes our friends smile and feel happy and welcome. When we went home, we said 'goodbye'.  We had a blackbird display with speech bubbles. 'hello', 'goodbye' we had great fun using these and sticking shiny materials and lovely sparkly bits on the birds to make them look great! It's fun being in nursery.
